Frequently Asked Questions

My build/reno/move has been delayed - can we delay delivery of our order?

Yes, of course!

If something changes in your timeline, simply give us a call at your earliest possible convenience and let us know. We'll shuffle things around and align our production timings to your project.

My walls are too small for your standard sizes - can I make it shorter?

Yes, of course!

We custom make all of our bedheads to order, so we can tailor it perfectly for your room.

Let us know the size you're after and we'll send you a price and manual invoice and we can get started from there. Easy!

I have power points / light switches in the way - what do we do?

No problem, we have two options here.

1: We make the bedhead as normal but put two small ”V” cut outs in the base of the bedhead backing board approx. 600mm in from either end, so that you can pop a flat-plug power board into your existing power points and feed the cord under the bedhead so that the power board sits on the floor in front of the bedhead, accessible in front of your bedhead (underneath your bed or bedside table). There is no extra labour charge for this option. This option allows for maximum flexibility as it doesn’t require an electrician and your bedhead remains moveable as it’s not tied to the wall with electrical wires.

2: You tell us where your PowerPoints and Light switches are located (a hand-drawn sketch is fine), then we put an MDF plate inside the bedhead, covered with wadding and fabric, then you get your electrician to carefully cut a slit in the fabric, then drill through this MDF plate, feed your electrical wires through and install the PowerPoint on the front of the bedhead. Additional labour charge to install these plates is $150 per plate. This will make the bedhead sit flush, permanently fixed to the wall as the electrical wires will be holding them in.

Can I specify my own fabric?

Yes, absolutely!

We have trade accounts with all of the major fabric suppliers in Australia, so send us your fabric choice and we can purchase it for your job.

Alternatively, if you have a special piece of fabric you'd like us to use, let us know and we can give you a quote 'less fabric', then you can post it to us to use on your piece.

Do you make bed bases?

Yes we do.

If you're in Melbourne, we make Ensemble bases either standard, or with Gas-lift or drawer storage, upholstered in your choice of fabric.*

For everywhere else in Australia, we make Upholstered Slat Bed Bases in your choice of fabric.

You can choose the fabric and the feet, or go with our standard feet.

*The reason we can only do Ensemble bases for Melbourne customers is because they are too large and heavy to safely ship around the country. We've tried before and there's a huge risk of damage during transit, so we have made the decision to only offer Slat Bed Bases for customers outside of Melbourne, as we can safely ship these flat-packed around the country.

We offer FREE DELIVERY Australia-wide.

Does delivery include set-up?

Unfortunately, no, we do not offer a set-up service.

For Oversized bedheads, or bed base orders, we have designed our products to be easily assembled using a screwdriver/allen-key, and we provide easy to follow instructions for this.
